2N5459 Transistor Explained / Description:
2N5484 is an N channel junction field effect transistors are in short form JFET. These transistors are manufactured in TO-92 and SOT-23 packages. These transistors are primarily designed for VHF and UHF applications but due to its good features and capabilities it can also be used for variety of signal amplifications and switching purposes. To get long terms performance from 2N5484 transistor it is suggested to not use this transistor at its absolute maximum ratings and always stay 20% below. The the maximum gate to source voltage is 25V so do not drive load more than 20V, maximum gate current is 10mA therefore do not drive load of more than 8mA and always store of operate in temperature above -55°C and below +150 °C.
